Poems

Nicole grew up writing poems in the middle of the night in a deep blue journal she bought at a woo-woo lady store called The Afternoon at Westroads Mall in Omaha, NE. Years later, she won a slam at the Nuyorican and interviewed Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky at a gala in downtown Chicago in front of an original Chuck Close portrait.

Here are some of her poems.
